GOOD BUDDIES

From 1985-92 I was riding for Santa Cruz Skateboards, the last 3 years as full-blown pro. Moving from LA back to my hometown Copenhagen in Denmark, we stayed in contact and I got flowed gear when needed. Santa Cruz, Indy, OJ always had my back.

Last year we got the idea to ask Santa Cruz if they were up for a board-colab with our still to come new Copenhagen-based streetfashion brand called Act in Public.

At a meeting with Santa Cruz we showed them our ideas – and little did we know how much lifelong loyalty to a company means... Santa Cruz did not only want to produce our Act in Public skateboards, they suggested we also make a “capsule” with streetwear as well… Ts, sweats and caps they offered us. So that’s where we are now… and we are totally stoked.

FITTING GUIDE

Sizes
All our sizes are true to size, but for a more urban look, we suggest that you bump it up one size... or stay as it was meant to be, by just ordering the same size that you usually wear.

Model

Tobias is wearing a size Large and claims to be 182 cm tall and is really good at kickflips - he could also fit an XL.

Quality

Since the t-shirt moved up in the world from undergarment in the mid-20th century, it’s been a struggle to identify a great t-shirt with all the elements there has to be in order to make it work. We love the 155-gram single jersey knit, for the best quality possible. T-shirts are all about look’n feel and the feel of these 155-grams is really comfortable with a fine touch of quality.

Style

We like to keep things simple and this goes for our t-shirts as well. We just added a slightly fitted body, a classic round crew neck with inside neck tape and sleeves nicely fitted and short, as an alternative to the less elegant us-styled t-shirt and the narrow fashion styled ones. We’re in the sweet spot, somewhere in between.

Sustainability (GOTS certified)

100% organic Fairtrade cotton is our starting point and all our jersey fabrics are produced free from toxic pesticides and chemicals, using sustainable textile methods, less water consumption, and materials from biologically diverse farming, so our customers can act socially responsible in public (GOTS certified).
